ClickUp rolls out Brain² to browse the web and click for you
ClickUp just started rolling out Brain² browser use to its Brain assistant. For sites without official integrations, the AI can now click around, fill out forms, gather info, and download files straight into ClickUp—with live viewing, step logs, and full session recordings included.
ClickUp has started rolling out Brain² browser use inside its Brain assistant, letting the AI take over web tasks directly.
Bridging the integration gap
The feature is aimed squarely at sites that do not have an official integration with ClickUp. Instead of waiting around for an API, Brain can now click around web pages, fill out forms, gather data, and download files, returning the final results straight into your ClickUp workspace.
To make sure users know what the agent is up to, ClickUp keeps the entire process visible. You can watch each browsing session live, check a step-by-step action log, and review a full video recording of what happened.
Why it matters
Turning an everyday productivity assistant into a browser agent is a clever play. Most businesses still rely on external tools and legacy portals that will never build a native API. Teaching AI to click and scrape like a human is basically a brute-force fix for broken workflows.
The real catch is reliability. Web agents are notorious for getting stuck on UI redesigns, random pop-ups, and form errors. ClickUp's inclusion of live monitoring, step logs, and full recordings shows it knows trust is the biggest bottleneck here. We think it is well worth testing for tedious data collection, though you will definitely want to keep an eye on it before letting it submit sensitive web forms.
